Bare Minimum Marketing launches on Indiegogo.com on Monday, September 24th!
Indiegogo is a crowdfunding site, similar to Kickstarter, but with wider scope. It allows for greater flexibility both in project type, and in rewards that I can offer you. I encourage you to go check out the site – you can see a list of my favorite projects here.
Bare Minimum Marketing will be launching on next Monday, September 24th. At that time, you will be able to link to the campaign, tell your friends about it, donate money, and sign up for any of the rewards, including:
- A copy of the book
- A brainstorming session with my own, personal, brainstorming team
- A copy of Bare Minimum Marketing plus a copy of each book that I recommend as being useful complements to Bare Minimum Marketing
- Help with your graphic design, or with implementing Bare Minimum Marketing for your business
- All of the above!
Indiegogo offers two options for creators: fixed funding, in which nobody pays unless enough money is raised for the entire project; or flexible funding, in which I’m able to use whatever money does get donated, regardless of the goal.
I have opted for flexible funding, so if you donate money you will get the rewards listed at that level, regardless of what the total pledged ends up being. With the money I receive, I will publish the best book I can. Funds will go towards the following, in this order:
- Sending out perks (obviously)
- Getting a professional edit
- Graphic Design
- Getting professional layout
- Printing costs
As before, if I’m able to raise enough to publish a paperback, I will do so, and everyone who contributes $25 or more will receive a copy.
If you think you’re interested in supporting Bare Minimum Marketing, you can help out a lot by donating on the first day — the amount raised in the first 48 hours of a campaign determines its ranking on the site and its visibility to browsers.
And whether you can donate money or not, your assistance in spreading the word is super-valuable.
Thanks for your support. I’m looking forward to working with all of you.
